Hello,

I purchased an 04 Impala SS a couple of months ago and I'm planning on doing the basic mods to be able to run a 3.4" pulley.

Just wanted to say HI and see if there's anyone from central NY. I live in Herkimer (just about 1 hour each way in between Albany and Syracuse)

How often do you have a mod day? What do you there, is it held at a garage? Is there a dyno?

We only have one or two mod days a year. We might have one big one and a couple smaller ones later. Marino gives us access to a large building with a concrete floor where we can work on about a dozen cars at the same time. And we usually grill lunch. No dyno there, but we have scheduled dyno days in the past.

Yes, it's black. In 04 all Impala SS's were black, in 05 they offered other colors.

I don't know how often I'll be coming out to Buffalo but I had a GREAT time, probably was about a 3 1/2 hour trip (it was great to ride out most of the way with Cliff). I was really amazed at how friendly/helpful everyone was.
