As the former host, I have to put it out there. Anybody interested? I'd figure we could do it sometime in April or May....

Are you saying the garage is available this year? _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe

Yeah the shop is available. Guess I should have checked other posts before this one huh? Is that mod-day definite? |

The mod-day wasn't in stone, but was uh..solidifying.
I guess it comes down to desire to use to lifts and welders, and space.
Would either place likely (or not likely) be available, in the fall or mid/late summer for another mod-day?
If we say April 14th (to keep it before IDD, and so Cary can make it), how many people want to go and/or work on their cars--would 5 bays (+how much parking?) be sufficient, or do we need the space at Marino's place?
If Marino's will likely be available later in the year and only a few people are interested this Spring, I'd say keep it at Gregs (on April 14th?). If a larger turnout (10+) is expected, let's move it to Marino's. Admittedly I say this not knowing the size of the building/parking Greg's shop has--please edumacate me if possible! _________________ 2018 Acadia

I think the space at marino's is an advantage, lifts and things are the advantage for gregs. I'd like mid april to get ready for IDD. At Marinos you can pick a spot and work all day, will people workign at grag's feel rushed if they are in a bay and need to do multiple things? |

^^That's another good point.
In theory, we could start earlier at Marino's, and wouldn't have to worry about interfering with Greg's work.
Unless anyone needs the lifts or welding tools, I move to move the mod day to 4/14 @ Marino's, at whatever time he'll let us start (10a?)...if that's ok with him. |

how many ppl would need the use of a welder/lift? i know lift's make working under the car 10000x easier than w/ a floor jack, but we've always managed in the past. having seen both garages, i think marino's would be a better choice for a mod day. if u need longterm use of a lift then you can always set something up at a later time and not feel rushed or nething. _________________ 2004 Yukon XL Trying to keep stock

I might have to drive up from md, just to get away, and probably go home for a bit too. I also have a zzp cai to install, and splash guards, alarm, and i think that about sums it up right now. Hopefully my car stays in 1 piece until then... |
