Bracket racing goes like this:
For round 1, everyone participating writes their estimated 1/4mile time on their window. The goal is to beat your opponent without running faster than this. If you break-out (go before the light is green), run faster than your time, or are beaten (and your opponent doesn't break-out and run faster than their time), then you are done (you can later return to certain lanes for more time trials though). You and your opponent won't get the green light at the same time (unless your times are the same). Rounds 2+ are the same deal, until it comes down to two racers. You can adjust your time between runs.

Thanks Brian,
Sounds like that would be pretty hard to do. I may have to try. What do you write on your window with?

http://www.glasschalk.com/
or similar product. Someone in line should have it that you can borrow, or the track worker at the front of the line. You should be able to get it at Autozone, Walmart, etc.

Stonewall Jackson,
Bracket racing, well, Its all about fun, and it does take trying it a couple two three times before you get competitive, but I feel the fun starts the 1st time you do it Very Happy You a southener or just like the Civil War them thing?
I my self suck at bracket racing, but you can go into the test and tune lane after you lose and continue racing. One thing I love about Wendesday bracket racing is you can just look at cars windows to see about what they will run. Cause when your at the track with your car you don't get alot of time to watch the others run.
See ya there sometime this year, youngin. Laughing
