Before you guys get all crazy with mods you may want to consider upgrading to the new phpbb v3.0 "Olympus". I believe it already includes many of the features you are discussing adding and it also is much much faster and easier, not to mention a cleaner look. i know I mentioned this a few months back that I was waiting for this major release, well here it is. Take it for what its worth boyz....

| I'm definitely interested in upgradnig to phpBB 3.0, but I'm not sure when. I'm not in a rush to upgrade and the important thing is that the forum is up and running. phpBB 3.0 is at RC1 and not officially released yet, but I'll keep my eye on it. |
