DAMN!!! 50 minutes to go from Utica to 81 on the thruway???? You do realize the accelerator is the skinny pedal on the right correct?? Shit it takes me less than 1 hour to go from 39 to Herkimer!!
Anyway....yeah if you leave by 9, we can wait up for you at the Warners service area. It's about 1 mile past exit 39.
Oh and don't look for any GPs......it'll probably be just a GTO and a WRX sitting there. |

Does someone have good directions to where we are meeting in the park? It can be easy to miss and most cell phones don't work at the picnic spot.
My cell is 585-729-4145 which should work until we get there. |

From the north end, I think you drive down the main road (a waaaaays), past the Glen Iris Inn, and then a little after that, turn left down a hill where there are shelters and I believe the hot air balloon launch field. Brad? |

yea you got it larry, head south till you pass the glen iris then take first left. (if you head back up hill after the glen iris you have gone to far.)
now for those of you that may be bringing kids or if you want to fish, they have a stocked trout pond.(take sharp right just before you head down hill to the glen iris.)
I would like to make it, but this guy i am supposed to pick stuff up from had a family illness and now everything is up in the air.
edit: in case i can not make it here is a google map set up for exactly where to go.

I have never been to this park so can anyone till were the site is located or how to get to the site from the south of the park coming from the west off of I-86.
