Welp,as of right now....I dunno if Im gonna make it. At probably 12:40ish am I got a death rattle from my flexplate area. Im taking a break right now from pulling the engine up enough for me to get to it. I got a flexplate on hand...of coarse but, Im pretty pissed off. Seems like something always happens before the Letchworth meet. Chalk another one up for leaning towards parting-out this fuckin beast. Maybe I'll look into buying that overpriced aftermarket flexplate now
If anyone is up and wants to swing out.....lol. If all else fails, I'll leave the house in the mini van at like 11am get there by 12-1pm if thats not too late.
Sorry guys, my car likes to break. I wanted to drive it since, well it is a Grand Prix meet. _________________ ZZP stuff...

Same here, it was nice to actually have time to socialize a little this time, and to meet a few more people than @ mod day. Brian, I'm not a big fan of the new GPs, but your car is stunning. Dunno if you're happy with the car's new "whisper" but I like it. .
Jenn and I both had alot of fun, and am looking fwd to the next get-together.
I really like the new buick Keith, it's a REALLY nice car for it's age, and stands out in the GS crowd in a good way. Once I get the centercaps off of Greg's wheels I'll get them to you as soon as I can.
Mike's son Sam was a blast, and makes me wish I brought my daughter Samantha along, they woulda had alot of fun.
Tigger altered my outlook on those brutal-looking dogs, too. Ever since that whole thing went down in Buffalo, I was leary, but not any more. Tigger's an awesome dog, and great around kids, too.
Although they didn't turn out that great, we did get some shots of the day to share.
A couple of the cars.....
my camera is junk, I dunno what made the rainbow effect happen, this woulda been a nice shot. ---v
Our daughter Lilly making friends....
And another group shot.
Had a blast everyone, hope we see each-other real soon. ( Hopefully I'll be able to bring the Buick next time so Keith's not so out-numbered. _________________

If anyone has any picnic pictures for me to post on media.unycgp.com:
- email them to me if they're only a few MB
or
- email and I'll tell you where to FTP them
or
- Try this upload page and let me know you sent a file. One file at a time, so you can zip up pics first.
http://media.unycgp.com/fileupload/
Eric, if it's OK with you, I'll just take those from the forum. Unless you have larger versions or more pics. |

Eric - I'm going to guess but you were playing with Mike's son Sam with your wife on the blanket. Then I was sitting right behind you with my wife on the bench before we left.... damn it didn't even know it. My bad |

Kenny, I don't know if you know it or not, but we were discussing after you left:
The mufflers/tips on your car have been around. I think yours is about the 5th or 6th UNYCGP car they've been on. IIRC is goes _____, Barton, McAvoy, Ed, John, You.
someone fill in the blank?
They're still in good shape and all...just they've got some history.
They used to be connected to a crush bent 3" exhaust that finally rotted at the Y on ed's car. He got a new borla and traded them to johnny for something. he made the catback that's on your car.
Before ed they were on scotty's car...who traded them for ed's stock catback when he demodded his GT.
I don't know the _____ to Barton to scott story so hopefully they can fill us in
It's a piece of history really, the OG UNY'ers sprit is strong with those mufflers _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

awe shit. sry man. Not your bad, I'm new around this club, and Jenn and I only know a small handfull of members, but we're getting better. At this rate, with 2 or 3 meets a year, Jenn and I might know everyone by say, 2011?
Keith is making me one hell of a deal on his brand new Plog, but there might be another buyer for it, so depending on what goes down with Keith's, I may or may not be buying your Plog. If I can get ahold of his new one for $60 and not have to pay shipping, that's what I'll do, but like I said, it might already be gone. I'm definately buying a Plog one way or another, I just wish I could be more definate for your sake...any chance of persuading me by way of doing a walmart style price drop? |
