I have 90# Valve springs for sale. They have been on the car for a couple of years but now i have to upgrade to the 130#. Here is the description:

90# springs are GM LS6 yellow springs*. The LS6 comes from the factory with .550" of lift and spins to 6500 RPM to give an idea of what the springs were made for. Seat pressure is lower than the Comp Cams springs but spring rate is higher so they do work well for aggressive ramp rates. There springs work well with the VS, NIC, or XP cam. Because of the higher spring rate, timing chain dampener life is lower than with the 105's.

$50.00 Shipped OBO

Thanks
Jon

You dont necessarily need to install all of those with springs. It would be a good idea to, but you dont have to. Yeah usually when you get a cam you will want to get different valve springs

yeah it has been running for a bit now. i drove to zzp a couple weeks ago and got it tuned and checked out and stuff. so its running much better. They pretty much replaced everything on the car and still couldnt figure out what the studdering is before each shift when i get into boost. thats why i going to get the 130 springs because they mentioned that i should try that next.

So.. if went with a cam and these 90# springs it is ok but the timing chain damper life will be lower. Like how much lower, I guessing you mean that the damper will have to be replaced often them if I ran a cam with stock springs

Just wondering if i would really feel anything with both then with just a cam?

oy...

for cam advice search the national forum--everything you need to know has been posted more times than any human would care to count.

I'm sure with or without the springs you'd feel the car shake. You'd probably feel the seat heater--etc...

Springs don't make horsepower...they prevent valve float. (which does rob horsepower)

If you run a vs cam with minimal other mods then you don't need springs.

VS=Valvetrain safe.

It makes a difference on what cam you're talking about.
