Hey everyone. My name's Scott and I'm from central New York (Utica). I recently attended the picnic in Letchworth State Park. It was a good time. I have a 1994 Grand Prix SE, as well as a 2000 Trans Am Firehawk. Pontiacs have always been my passion. Just introducing myself.

The Trans Am has no mods as of yet, just because I wanted to keep it original; but that will all change in 2008. I plan to put on headers, cam, LS6 fuel rail, fuel pump, & plenum, as well as a MagnaCharger supercharger from East Coast Supercharging in New Jersey. Right now on the dyno, it's got 329HP (bone stock with Firehawk mods - which is basically just Ram Air on steroids with an Auburn rear end), but I hope to increase that to close to 500HP after it's all said and done. It's a damn sexy car, though.

Magnacharger with an LS6 intake manifold? That should be interesting!

The car is bright red, 6-speed manual with no TCS, which I really like. By the way, studderin, I'm not sure what you meant in your post. And studderin: SLP (Street Legal Performance - who make Firehawks & Camaro SSs) does sell an LS6 intake manifold - I'm actually not sure if that includes different LS6 fuel rails or not - I'll have to check.

It's just the intake manifold.

He's telling you (in his own style of typing) that you don't need LS6 fuel rails. The LS1 rails will work fine. There is no reason to upgrade.

(A few of us, including him, are friends with and/or contract laborers for ( Wink ) these guys)...Matter of fact, John (sudderin) did the heads/cam in my GTO @ New Era.

This isn't just a Grand Prix forum (anymore)

Welcome.

If u havent realized, you'll probably get more conversation about your F body over your GP...even thought this is a GP board. So, is there anything done to the GP?

EDIT: I did not write this to be mean or hurt anyones feelings, just warn a car enthusiast about wasting money.

save your self the time money and headache of not knowing what the hell your are doing with the ls1 car and take it to new era performance, not only with you get the right parts but will get good service and a proper education on how to mod it and not waste money.

oh and the kid you are correcting has one of the fastest stock ls1 cars around here, and works for a local late model shop who just happens to be a HUGE vendor for slp.
