Gone to several auto stores and all of them report that the 04+ Grand Prixs don't have fuel filters to change...well at least arn't listed as a maintenance item and none of them carrry them.

Haven't called the dealer yet but figured I ask on here what the deal is with the 04+ fuel filters.

Was gonna change the fuel filter, trans-filter/fluid, and work on that exhaust leak this weekend in preperation for retune/dyno/injector install in the near future.

Same as the earlier gen (kind of)... Look up under the edge of the car near the back of the drivers-side rear door. You'll see a little canister.
In 05 it was moved into the fuel tank/pump assembly.

ah so I'm pretty much stuck with the dealer option or an online supplier.

Thanks.

Check with Greg Was (clubgp:radrace19 -- mention your ClubGP ID if you go through paceparts.com) @ Pace Parts if you're not in a hurry, or need some other dealer-sourced stuff (ie Dex VI trans fluid).

Yeah, retailer auto parts stores are a few years behind. They wont carry it till the demand is high enough. I can remember having to go to the dealer for my 96 in 98-99 because it was ~too new~ Laughing
