I am still interested in a 2nd gen GTP, I found this one, but kinda high mileage, 145k...
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=243173967&dealer_id=62469167&car_year=1999&model=GP&num_records=25&systime=&make2=&start_year=1997&keywordsfyc=&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=2&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=50&marketZipError=false&search_lang=en&make=PONT&keywords_display=&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&body_style=COUPE&drive=&default_sort=priceDESC&max_mileage=&style_flag=2&sort_type=priceDESC&address=13502&advanced=&end_year=2003&doors=&transmission=&max_price=10000&cardist=49

How do these hold up, it looks like it's in pretty damn good shape, but the mileage worries me a tad. I think I might call and go check it out after class since I am in Liverpool right now.

I would keep looking. I'm sure you can find a lower mileage GTP for around the same price or a little more. I know a guy that would probably sell you his GTX for a ham sandwich and a beer Rolling Eyes Here are a few from craigslist.

That one only has 60K, looks like a nice car. Talk him down a bit and you'd be in business.

I'll tell my boy Nick to hop on here, he has a black 4 door that hes looking to sell. It has 113k on it, but its in real good shape. He just wants to get a beater and an LS1 I guess and cant afford the GTP and an LS1. I dont know how much he wants for it, but I think he owes like 4k'ish on it.

Officially, yes they're the 6th Gen Grand Prix.

I think he means 2nd Gen W-body. Laughing

Check the Utica & Syr craigslists for something more local, and just keep poking around on Autotrader & cars.com.

We spent 2 months combing the hundreds of GP's on the market last year in MN, before we settled on a black '99 GTP coupe for my roommate (daily driver back-up for his XPZ's GP). Granted, we're more picky than others due to experience, but just to give you an idea of how selective to be.

yes I was talking about the 2nd gen w-body, and I am only interested in a 2 door, I do not want another 4 door vehicle right now. Thanks for the info and the links though, I am just gonna keep looking I guess.

Who knows, maybe I could get lucky with this one...
