This is all I see in the GM manual for quick suggestions:
Quote: | An intermittent may be caused by a poor connection, rubbed through wire insulation or a wire broken inside the insulation. Check for the following conditions:
- Intermittent short circuit on the serial data circuit.
- Poor connection. Inspect the PCM and the affected control module harness and related connectors for improper mating, broken locks, improperly formed or damaged terminals, and poor terminal to wire connection.
- Damaged harness. Inspect the wiring harness for damage. Check for an intermittent short or open circuit in the wiring harnesses related to the affected control module, including the ignition, battery feed, ground, and serial data circuits. |

not causing a check engine light is it? this type of code is very common on gms and is usually due to a faulty abs module. if theres no other problems/no lights on id leave well enough alone |

I'm gonna guess the traction control and ABS lights are on, I had this code on my fathers car when I had the module/unit unplugged. _________________ Best Formula N-A 12.1 @ 110 (pre-engine swap) |

Check for a short in the wiring harnesses at the box. Try moving the wiring harnesses into the box with the car off, start the car,, did it go away. You found your short. The light will go away when you restart the car if you fix it or not. Those lights and code only occure when the system check fails. So it will go off when you restart the car but come back on unless you fix the problem _________________ Good Bye.

Mine is on to but I have not dug in yet.
I was shooting for bad sensor/harness, or EBTCM. I am also getting false activation and the lights come on when driving over large bumps. |
