If they're these trapezoid ones, I may call dibs.

(just got another loud muffler ticket while idling at a sticker-check roadblock, so that's the trigger for initiating my quieter plans, along with some appearance clean-up)

Time to finally eliminate this (vid):

I have one GTX tip....the other broke and fell off.

Obviously it's two pieces of stainless...well where the trapezoidal part was joined to the tubing, the joint just broke and fell off.

Wasn't rusty or anything...still shiny actually.

Gay.

That sounds pretty badass Dave. I'm sure it's raspy as all hell at higher RPMs. What is your setup?

Sounds like butt above 50% throttle, but throaty as hell down low. I hate it overall. No drone, but outside presentation is terrible... and I'm single & looking for a non-CGP girl this time, so gotta put on a soft/clean show for the ladies. Cool (the fix will be GTX trapezoid tips on Borla XS's with a stock Y-pipe I picked up, behind a larger 3" res than the bullet I have)

I've always been saying I'll eventually clean up the throw-together 2.5" Y-pipe/C4 mufflers/single tips I tossed on back in '03 from prototype Corsa scraps. Ever since removing the cat during a header swap in '05, and going with a 3" mid-pipe, the car's been way too loud as well (bullet res did nothing). I'd also like that quiet modding to accompany a clean up of the looks... I think 5yrs is a long enough procrastination.

Mods are the same thing every other new modder has done in the past 1-2 years (I've just had them for 3) Twisted Evil ... XP, Gen V, headers, 9.4:1 block

I'm hoping he means they're a dual set of trapezoids?
