Well started to weigh what to do when selling the Grand Prix and I'm just going to bring it back to stock.
So I would like a stock airbox...mines been altered, would trade it for a stock one and leave my K&N in there This setup has actually been pretty good for keeping intake temps down and allowing max in into the stock setup. Track times don't lie
Need the drivers side upper vent ball. I would be willing to sell the Aeroforce scan guage II and include this nice mounting setup for stock vent section. Asking $150.
3.5 Pulley. Got a great deal from Doug on it. 25 bucks. If you help pull it off and put on my stock pulley. The 3.5 is yours otherwise. $25 bucks.
Thanks in advance guys! _________________ Best Formula N-A 12.1 @ 110 (pre-engine swap) |

Can you use an airbox off of a 97 GTP, and would the one you have fit my 98 GTX? If so Id be willing to trade and see if its an improvement over the "hot air" intake thats on the car now. Lemme know And what exactly is the "vent ball" youre referring to? _________________ 2000 NBM Z28 | SLP lid | Ebay LT's w/ TSP ORY | Magnaflow catback | New Era tune | Pro 5.0 | Monster Stage2 and Tick master | BMR springs/Bilstein HD's | Spohn Adj. the vent ball is the syle of vents the 04+ went to with the interior change. Not sure on the year they switched air boxes. |

Het Ed, if you run into a brick wall so-to-speak in terms of the pulley swap, let me know. I've got a puller I can bring over to help make it happen for ya. If it's cool with you, I'd like that 3.5 for Jenn's car.
LMK,

Sorry for leaving you all hanging, the weather has been real shitty, plus since the weather has gotten to the point of freezing I haven't been able to get into the Firebird (car cover frozen to it was using the gauge to check a code). My camera and the scangauge are in there
Plus lets be honest, I've been plotting ways to keep both cars. I love them both but the Firebird is enough of a toy and the 98 Deville I've had "passed down" to me is a nice daily driver....heated mirrors are nice but the tapshift/head-ups display/supercharger kinda keep me coming back to the Grand Prix.
Weather is supposed to be above freezing Monday, I'll get pictures up then and pull the vent/gauge setup out. Working close to home so I'll actually have some day light or at least not dead tired time to work on the car.
Thanks for your patience. |
