Ok, so the Christmas Party isn't happening for the first time in forever.
Please help us understand why so the next time we attempt a club-wide event we'll have better participation.
Thank you. _________________ 2018 Acadia

Aside from being a busy season for our crew building new race sleds, it's a bit of a drive for the Rome-Utica guys for "just" dinner. We'll be sure to continue growing involvement with all-day events like the picnic & racing in the future, but smaller things are hard to justify.
Price/etc. seemed very fair & had me considering it, though. Given the right circumstances, I know it would be very possible, just not at the moment. Definitely keep planning things, and we'll be sure to get used to attempting more attendance.

IMO, I havent seen a lot of activity on here at all lately.Im sure that has somewhat somthing to do with why the dinner didnt take place this year. I check new posts every nite, and theres 2, 3 new posts at the most.. How many poeple actively post, get involved, etc..? This should be a very active forum I think atleast, maybe instead of asking why people didnt want to attend a "dinner" this year. Ask why people dont really spend to much time or get involved on here. I know I dont just becuase of the slow activity.
Just my .02 cents.. _________________

I'm surprised more people didn't have interest in the party, since the last few years have had decant turnouts with the picnic and this party. Most of the original members have long since sold their cars and are not as active on the forums I think, is most of the issue. But either way, thanks Matt for trying to put something together for the club. Hope we can get something put together for the near future with some of the ppl that were interested in meeting up before Christmas. _________________ 70 Monte Carlo 12.5@109 frame off in progress... |

same here. year end work has me busy and doesn't leave me much extracurricular time. Plus, I really didn't want to sit next to Matt at dinner. _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe
