You know what they say...everything is for sale...for the right price.

This is a "GI" thread-though this is not an "I'll answer all your questions about a car you're not going to buy" thread.

It's a 2006 Phantom Black Metallic Pontiac GTO.

I bought it brandy-new in April of 2007. Car has 18,500 miles on it--all of which I've put on it. Most have been going back and forth to Rochester, Albany, and work. Car has never ever ever seen snow or salt and has been driven in the rain around 25 times in it's entire life. The past year and a half it has slept in a garage year round.

Asking 25k/bo as is, 23k/bo returned back to bone stock. GM does NOT know this car was modded so balance of factory warranty still remains.

It goes without saying that it's had mobil 1 every 2500 miles.

Mod list:

GM Casting L92 heads custom prepped by Ed Curtis of Flowtech Induction. Milled .030 to preserve 11.9-ish compression. Heads are hand ported intake and exhaust by Ed himself. 347 CFM @.650 on his flowbench. One-piece stainelss valves and flowtech springs assembled by Ed as well. (Have stock 243 casting heads with 4k miles on them)

ARP Head Bolts. GM gaskets.

Custom Flowtech cam ground for these heads (228/240 on 116 or 115 I think. .625 lift) (Have stock cam)

Ported GM L92 intake (have stock LS2 intake)

Ported GM throttle body (Have stock LS2 TB)

GM L92 injectors (Larger) (Have stockers)

Yella Terra L92 shaft mount rockers (have stock rockers AND GM offset rockers)

Kooks 1-7/8 stainless headers, 3" OR mids, Magnaflow catback (Have stock manifolds and cats with 1500 miles on them; stock catback with 700 miles on it)

Powerbond underdrive pulley (have stocker)

Hurst Chrome handled shifter with black shift knob (have all stock shifter stuff, handle to connect stock shifter to hurst linkage, and a white hurst ball)

South Coast Speed and Sound center gauge pod with GTO-faced Oil pressure and aeroforce interceptor gauges.

I think that's it--all I can think of off the top of my head.

I have THOUSANDS in mods in the car and there's like 14k on this build still going very strong. Car originally made 453 to the wheels...when it went back to NEP for the rockers this year it made 460+ to the wheels. Monkey math puts this around 530 hp at the crank.

It's my reliable daily driver and had made it to B'lo, Albany, and even Westborough with no probelms AT ALL. Car gets around 25 mpg on the highway as well.

I in no way HAVE to sell this car--but an opportunity came up and if I can get what I want for the car, it may be time for a different build. After all, that's half the fun.

I'd like to add that for $25k you get ALL the stock parts which, best I can guess, are worth around 2grand to sell...or you can put the car back to stock and sell the mods yourself. If you wanted to you can keep the L92 heads on the car and evcen with a stock cam, you'd be up on power. with the exhaust you'd probably be close to 400 at the wheels. (dyno'd almost 380 bone stock with headers)

I"m not sure anyone here needs pics or vids as I tend to post them freely but if you're SERIOUS, I'd be willing to work with you. After all it's in the garage under a cover.

Oh yah..you get a $400 fleece lined car cover too....

If you know anyone, send them my way ( kc2giw [at] gmail.com )

That's all I've got to say.

Technically i dont think youre "allowed" to. I know they will ban your IP if they catch you using one of those websites that searches more than one CL listing at the same time.

Shitty trade in value I assume? You could obviously make good money parting out the mods.

The only things worth money are the exhaust components.

The heads are GM heads. Ported L92s don't hold value like AFR's or ETP's.

The trade was very good actually...and on a car this expensive, you have to sell it for at least 2-3k more just to make up the tax incentive.
