I might be able to make Batavia. Is this a learning event or do I need to know what I'm doing?

With BMWCCA there were no instructors. There probably will be with WNY or FLR SCCA.

FLR SCCA has a great novice program. They will have instructors walk the course with you and tell what you should be doing at various parts of the course. You can also ride with an instructor in his car and you will have instructors ride with you for your first couple of times.
I honestly belive that FLR has one of the best novice programs on the east coast and is one of the reasons they are so competative at the regional and national level.

BTW, BMWCCA has instructors but you have to ask for one.
