Hey guys, as of right now I am not 100% sure if these plans on for sure, but if I can get help, it would be greatly appreciated. I am planning on installing my XP cam over my spring break for school. The break is the week of the 22nd, I am pretty sure. I am pulling the motor, because I need to replace my oil pan gasket as well. I know how you guys joke that mod days should just be relaxing and stuff, but if I could, I would like this done in a timely manner ~2-3 days at most. Let me know if anyone can help. Thanks!
Tyler
BTW, this most likely will be done in my buddies heated garage. _________________ 1998 Monte Carlo Z34 - 12.94@107.71 Street tires (Retired)

Depending on how the installation of my suspension, F-body brakes, and HD-diff goes that week, I may be able to help out. _________________

Hey thanks for the quick replies everyone! Nightryder, are you going to start working on your car the Friday we get out? AKA the 20th? Joe, I will have to talk to you and see if I can get your help on one of those days, and Brian, I will prolly message you and see when you are free. Anyone else? I'll take all the help I can get! |

Hopefully I can get the rear suspension and other misc things I need to do in the rear end done by this weekend. I'll be getting my calipers in tomorrow so I may be able to paint them and throw them on this weekend as well.
I guess it all depends on how much I get done before spring break. I don't forsee it taking me more than 2 days to get it all done and since it's off the road, I don't need to do it all at once.
When were you planning on doing it? |

As of right now, this is how I would like to do things. The 20th, after school, pull the motor, start tearing it down a bit. Then I might be working that night, if not, have it down to the bare bones, probably cam out that night. I will probably be working the next morning, so I will get out around 4 that day. Then when I get home, hopefully install the cam, and build the motor all back up, maybe even start installing it again. Sunday, same as Saturday with work, then go home, finish up the odds and ends, start tuning, etc. |

20th of March. I definitely cannot do it this Friday. That would be cool though. On Friday, I get out of school at noon, so from then till whenever, I will be working on my car. |

Yup, if need be, the build can 'roll over' to during the week as well, in case anyone was wondering.
Is the weekend able to be accommodated by everyone or no? |

I should be able to make those dates, I may not be able to see it all the way through but we'll see.
My buddy has an engine stand in my garage not doing anything (I swapped his engine a few weeks ago), I'll ask him if we can use it.
EDIT: It's cool with him that we use it |
