Here are some things to chew on:
- $25 to enter the run? (A thrid of the collected funds would go to the best poker hand, another to the worst hand the other to either the club treasury or a local charity)
- Shirts WILL be made up for this event if enough intrest is shown, maybe car decals as well?.
- I'm thinking 5 card stops between Rochester and Buffalo.
- We could have other events or stops between the card stops. Not sure what, need some ideas.
- I'm thinking maybe late June or early July for the run.
Lets keep the discussion going here!

I don't think the best and worst hands should get the same amount of $$. Is this an individal thing (one person per car) or a team event (2-4 people per car)? Is it $25 per person or per car?
How do you prevent some guys from combining their cards for the best hand, and then splitting the winnings?
Inquiring minds want to know...

Good points Scott. I was thinking it would be one person per car at $25. You could bring people along for the ride but only one would get the cards. Therefore no cheating. We could just scrap the 'Worst Hand' payout and give that portion to the winner then? I'm sure there are going to be plenty of shit hands. We should still plan out what type of Poker to play as well and how it will work. 5 cards straight up? Or maybe a modified Hold 'em setup. Pick your best two cards and then rely on the flop? Just some more options...

Oh. I just figured that since the stops would be at bars, that we would be doing teams, so that we don't have to worry about DWI's.
You know when we all get together we don't always obay the traffic laws. Add alcohol into the mix, and we could get into serious trouble.
If we do teams, people (not the driver) can still drink as much as they want, and not have to worry about getting into an accident or getting a DWI. It also would probably make it a little more fun since we won't be driving all over the place alone. Plus you'll need a navigator (and a drunk navigator will make it even more interesting).
