If the bolts arn't rusted too bad it shouldnt be too hard at all......just heat em up a tad and they should break rite loose. Back when I used to have the 3'' DP b4 i did headers, it took me like 20 minutes to install, my car had never seen winter tho....so the bolts came off with literally almost no effort. _________________

hopefully it's not like the wifes Regal that was a major pain in the balls. Her car is driven year round so it gets all the fun weather Rochester has to offer. HEAT is your friend, i'd say start hitting them with some PB a few days before you go at it so they're soaked. |

ohk so im doing my d.p tommorow and was just wondering if i get the rear 02sensor code deleted then go to run my car through for an inspection will it pass cuz the code isnt there? I know the light wont be on but will the computer to hook up for inspection realize that that monitor isnt working and not there and fail the car? |

You won't know for sure until you try it. If you have a problem, it will be the readiness monitors. If you reset the computer, the readiness monitors have to run. This is why they tell you to drive a bit before they test the car. But with older cars, some of the readiness monitors are allowed to fail. Depending on how old the car is, a certain number can fail and you can still pass.
If that turns out to be a problem, it's possible to use the PCM programmer to make the monitors ready for inspection. You set every DTC to 'not reporting' before inspection. Then program it back to normal when you are done. |
