Just looking to see if anyone has an extra Gen3 case laying around they they are not going to use that you'd wanna let go for cheap. Want to do a little port work on one as a little side project this winter and put iton the GTP in the spring. _________________

I have one Galen.
It's the 98 style (with the vac tree on the side). It came with the rest of my topswap parts, the guy ported the outlet with what looks like a hack saw not sure if it's workable for what you want it for. Probably could use some new needle bearings as well.
I would be willing to let it go for a case of Saranac _________________

Whatever makes you sleep better at night. He does this for fun on the side at home, and happens to be good at it. Don't think you want to be the guy knocking someone for trying to do some entrepreneur paint/body stuff on the side... just like I wouldn't knock someone for doing things like custom s/c or N*TB fabrication. Not good to bring a bad light on the privateer side of things you're into.
BTW - Just talked to Whitcomb & this case is hogged out for turbo use, so won't work too good with rotors inside anymore. My old roommate in MN did the gutting, then it went through these guys. Sam will probably package it with all his current turbo kit items to sell complete, after we road-trip to get this & other shizzle next week.

So, if one wanted to use that painted case for actual supercharger use...it just has the flames then?

That blue/black painted case is completely modified for turbo use by DOHCZ34, my old roommate from MN who sold it to Whitcomb a couple years back. The entire outlet square is removed (no V section), and the BBV hole is welded shut to direct all air to the main outlet opening.
Sam said he'll post an ad for his current turbo kit after we remove it all for pics/inventory, and put the new bigger stuff in place.
