My winter beater, 98 buick lesabre, had the cel come on a few days ago. Scanned it and its p0108. Well, a just replaced the pcv valve, but in doing that I pulled the top half off of the map sensor by mistake. Probably ruined it, but I put it back on anyway and then got the cel on a day later. My question is I just unplug the connection, lift and pull old sensor off, replace it, plug connnection back in? Is there anything else to it? Seems easy. Thanks for any help. |

You are correct.
Some of the UIM's have clips on both sides to hold the sensor in, but other than that, nothing. |
