Hi! Anybody have experience with fixing the power sunroofs on Grand Prixs? A while back I heard a POP sound and then the motor ran but the glass was not moving. When I pulled the headliner and switch assembly apart to sufficiently see the motor and drive assembly, I noticed that a red round piece that looked sort of like a large button was lying loose above the headliner.

I noticed that the round plastic red piece had some prongs on it and that it fit into the drive assembly. By pressing it into place and running the drive motor, it seemed to snap firmly into position. I thought I had fixed it because the roof worked for a couple of weeks. But then it "popped" again, and the glass again quit moving.

Thinking maybe I just need a new red "button" type piece, but I have no idea if those are available separately. Any clues? (Mine is a '99 GTP)
