Cary...that sucks. I was hoping to use your PC. You would've gotten a bottle of EX-P out of the deal too. I imagine Vegas was much more fun than a goofy detail day anyways. Smile

The detail would've been fun, but I have WAY too many things to catch up on this weekend after being away for 5 days. Just not enough time. Crying or Very sad

I wanted to drag this weekend too, but that also is not happening, no way.

So do we have a final list of people making it out here tomorrow? Also, would this detail day be hindered if it rains?

If it's raining, we will still be indoors, so there wouldn't be a problem. The humidty may make the product a touch harder to work , but not much.

But, if it is raining, I could see turnnout being lower. Maybe we should make this weather pending.

I'm sure we can think of something to do if everyone still comes out.

Will there be any washing? Hose available outside?

I could make a hose available if its needed, but we wont be able to wash cars indoors. I think weather pending would be a good idea because if it is raining, which its supposed to do all day tomorrow, everyone's car will be dirty and wet. It doesnt matter to me, we should decide soon though. Wink

If it's raining tomorrow morning, then we'll have to re-schedule. I'll post something here in the morning,

The weatherchannel.com site has an 80% of rain and thundershowers. I see a big green glob just on the other side of Lake Erie. I loooks dry here now, but I don't know what to plan on for later in the afternoon.

I know a lot of people are looking forward to this day. I have a lot of stuff for you kids to try as well. I hate to postpone this, but I know rain will really bum this event out. Marino does not have wash facilities at the shop. Even if the cars were clean, humidity plays havoc with waxes. Ask any Zaino user. The stuff takes that much longer to dry. I experienced that at Mod Day when it was raining outside and I was detailing.

I say in light of the 0% chance of rain, we postpone it until a later date in September. We can get the cars prepped for winter and maybe someone can bring a TV so we can also keep up on football.

If you have specific problems that need to be addressed sooner or things you have questions with, call me and we'll schedule a time so you can come over (or I can come to your garage) and we can see what can be done.

Anyone in Buffalo get a better read ont he weather? I checked out weather channel.com and wkbw.com (not the same station without Irv, Rick and Commander Tom) and both were calling for rain all day.

Here's the NE radar image. Big, green and ugly.

Screw weather channel, and screw all the local news stations. I like how they called for rain yet its 75 and sunny at my house. I should be a meteorologist, it's the only job where you can make 6 figures and be wrong 100% of the time. Evil or Very Mad

I was considering it, depending on what time you were all meeting, and where.

I woke up to beautiful sunshine.

It is starting to cloud over now, and looks seriously dark to the west.

It is humid as all hell.

Well, that was short lived.

It's pouring out, and the lightning is pretty darn close.
