Just wanted to say hi, my name is dan. I dont have a GP yet.. i am waiting till the spring to renew my search for a 97-03 gtp. for now i have a 1990 olds toronado (with a black eye) so if you are driving around and see it, that is me |

Hi Dan,
Welcome. I just test drove a nice 2dr black 02 with 38,000 in Lakeville. Fully loaded. The guy would go 14,000. Not too bad considering the miles.

do people here enjoy systems in there cars? or is it too much weight for your speed machine? i love working and installing stereos hence the screen name |

I've installed about 7 starters but never ran into the GM security.
I did mostly fords and chryslers. Do have a question? |

Nah....I didnt have a question, I needed someone to do the install. I'm thinking of buying one and you can get them pretty cheap on ebay. I havent really called around but I know some shops won't install it if you didn't buy it from them. I would have no idea how to install a starter especially since I have the factory security system. |

Marino, How much are you looking to spend? I know a great guy for installs. He installed my CompuStar Alarm and remote starter and it's so clean and professional. You can't even tell it's there. I had to buy the alarm system from him though and I think the total came out to be $400 installed. IIRC. After looking at the wiring diagrams, I didn't want to do the install myself.
