I know it's early, but I want to get this planned out WAY in advance so we can attract as many people as possible.
Now we have to decide on the date, and what to do.
How many under 21s do we have? because I have to plan accordingly for our under age members.....any senior members have any special needs? LOL!
Ed gave me a good idea, but I don't know if anyone would be interested as it would end up costing alot? But if we rented out a room somewhere, we could have a dinner and drinks and most places will not ID since the alcohol has already been paid for.
Also, Non UNYCGP members are invited, so you OQCGP members are welcome to come down if you want for dinner and drinks. Also our non GP members are welcome and I would like to see you guys there...that means you Pat M, Brad, and Jason!
I would like to have it sometime in late december, or early January, the Grand Prix store will give us $100 towrds dinner, which will help out where ever we go. |

as a senior I would need the following in order to attend-
1) Limo from PA and back
2) open bar
3) nude women (preferably 21-27 years old)
4) hotel accomodations
I thank you Mr. President for your concern for the elderly _________________ 2000 GTP 13.5 daily driver

Cary, you are welcome to use my spare bedroom.
Please, let's not go to Jillians again.
I wonder, if we went back to the garage at High Falls, if the security guy would remember us? |

Although.... I do still have all those tickets for a free two hours of pool. I never made it back there to use them. |

If we could do like a $25/plate prepaid dinner including 3 or 4 hours of open bar, I think that would be a reasonable price for most people on here... Maybe we should even get dressed up and try to act civilized?? _________________ Fast. Cheap. Correct. Pick any two.

BAHAHA HA HA LMFAO!!!!!!!!!! That is the funniest thing you have ever said!
OK in all seriousness, it would be fun to have a "formal" type of holiday party, and if we could rent a room with $30 plates and open bar, I would be totaly down with that. |

Just for poops and giggles, thinking that $25 per person is a bit low, I decided to call Richardson's Canal House in Bushnell's Basin. I've been to private parties there for the wife's work. They did a great dinner and a cocktail hour.
Their website (supposedly) is canalhouse.org.
I talked to Laurie (248-500) and she says that they can put together an a la carte menu, with entrees ranging from 18-25. She said that if you want to do a full menu with cocktails, expect 40-50 per person.
There's a starting point for someone. (who is our official events person?) |

hey scott,
I was just thinking about a holiday party (or a gathering) and came up with this. One of my close buddies works for S&S limousines and can get us a great deal on a canada trip which I believe lasts 10 hours . Me and some of my friends were going to do it about a month back and it would have cost 45 a person I believe at the most. I think this would be a great idea depending on how many people actually want to go. In this case we wouldnt have to worry about anyone getting a dwi or any bullshit in that range. Just thought id offer

The limo idea would be cool, except that no one could bring their wife/gf along unless they liked nudie bars... Plus, if we get a nice turnout, we'll need like 3 of the navigator super-stretches! We had over 20-some-odd people at the holiday party last year... We had a pretty decent turn out for the summer picnic as well... |

IMNSHO, I'd like to see the holiday party (or at least a portion of it) along the same lines as the summer picnic which was a little more family friendly. Not that I wouldn't mind going to a tig bitty place but it's difficult to put "Going to Sundowner" on the family calendar without getting a dirty look. _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe

I'm going to spend $40 on dinner and beer. Than T/B's plus beer. And bowling and more beer. I think a limo would put $$ over what I'd want ? Remeber half of us don't have jobs. |
