OK, I need to know what date will work best for everyone, I want new faces at this party, and so far I have no one that I have not met.
The two dates we have right now are February 7th or February 21st, PLEASE everyone vote on a day, and make it ASAP so I can get things planned! If both days work for you, just vote for one date, and then reply you can go to either!! |

And I'm just the opposite. No for the 21 and 28, yes for anything else. |

How about 'new to you'? This face is turning 28 between the proposed dates. Not yet qualified for the Elder Council, but it doesn't feel all that new anymore. Either date will work for me. _________________ 2018 Acadia

What's the latest info on the party? Anything? I definitely can not make it on the 21st now. I had to pick a day for someone to cover my "on call" duties at work and my backup guy already had plans for the 21st. So, I'm stuck with the 9th. Won't do me much good though if it's on the 21st!

Well, IMHO this is where we are at....we have 7 people for the 7th or 8 people for the 21st.....I am thinking it's not worth people wasting there money on. I am not sure what I wnat to do now?
Maybe I'll just schedule a meet on the 21st and it will be whoever wants to show up can feel free.
I don't know what to do anymore? I try really hard to accomidate as many people as possible and we might get 12 total....and the big problem is that the 12 people I have already meet! no offense to any of you guys but when are we going to have some other members actually get in there cars and drive to Rch for a meet? I mean it's less than 150 total miles!!!
Oh well, looks like February 21st for the party. I will get ahold of Scott for the Number of the place we are gonna eat. Maybe the Summer picnic will have more members attend?
Mike, I am sorry you are not gonna be able to attend, I promise I will make it up to you! |

if it is indeed the 21st, I'm there....along with my W.I.F.E.
I talked to my parents, and they agreed to take the kiddies overnight, so we are planning to do a cruise and stay over
Scott, let me know the details please, and is it still that real nice restaurant Scotch & Sirloin? I hope so, the W.I.F.E. would like a nice night out.
It'll be good to see you guys again, I'm looking forward to it, as long as the weather cooperates. |

21st works for me too, let me know time and place! good work scott.
Thanks for taking the time to plan this stuff, I know it has to be hard.
Are there any hotels with good resturants or other places like Scotch? I have never been there, it would be nice to go.

Scotch and Sirloin is a very good restaurant with mid to high priced menu (based on where you currently eat). I would like to offer another suggestion. Mardi Gras is February 24th (Fat Tuesday). There is one cajun joint in town and also a nice little bar/restaurant called Maddy's that hosts "Maddy Gras". They bring in a cajun chef and whip up a mean pot of Gumbo along with jambalya, red beans and rice and maybe etoufee.
I suggest we pass on the pricey joint and hit Maddy Gras. It isn't a tig bitties bar, and it is an older crowd. But the food is excellent at the atmosphere really rocks. They have good prices on beer and a very good beer selection. There isn't exactly a hotel nearby, but there is a Microtel and Hampton Inn just off the Thruway about five minutes away.
How does this sound? |

I never really had cajun food, not really interested in it. I really have no idea, but like I said I like the idea of the Scotch. |
