Any chance we can get a "TUNING / PCM" section added? I am having a hard time finding it all as it is posted all over the place, and there are getting to be more and more of use with tuners, and tuning questions specifically.
I also have a shitload of stuff I can post in the way of tutorials and beginners type stuff...just need a good place to put it where it will not get lost or buried.
Thanks

I can add that no problem... but the decision lies in the hands of the master moderators.

I think thats a good idea Gary.
I think the club members should decide, Not just people that have been selected as a web site moderater. _________________ New Era performance

I think it's a good idea. Some basic (or advanced) tuning FAQs/tutorials could be stickies with general discussion below.
To the inevitable thought of posting binaries:
As the site admin, Larmo is legally responsible for the content. That said, based on what goes on in the DHP forums, posting stock code, and custom tunes, should be ok, but that's Larmo's decision. There should probably be a sticky with some two simple posting/attachment guidelines.
1. Copyrighted material is not allowed, including, but not limited to, DHP 1.x, and Intense off-the-shelf binaries.
2. All binaries should be posted with a detailed mod list. _________________ 2018 Acadia

Excellent points. Personally I would love to be able to actually see and compare bins, as long as it is done within the guidelines of the law. HP Tuners does not encrypt bins unless you manually do it, and any HP Tuner can read any other bins, so I don't think they will be an issue. There is already a bin repository setup but unfortunetely it is mainly LS1's and very few V6 bins in the library.
Even if we don't get binary attachments, I can dump it into the other repository and just send a link if necessary I guess.. |

I think it's a good idea. There have been a lot of tuning threads and I know a few club members have PCM programmers. |

I think adding a specific tuning section separate from General Drivetrain is OK. _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe

Larmo made up the forum and I moved a bunch of the past PCM/Tuning threads into it. I doubt I got all of them, but it's a start. |
