genneral good shit I didn' know were to put it right now.
And FYI more resone stock 02 #'s = gay. I noctied this more with cars with headers, the factory 02's number change more to the real AFR # then it dose on a stock car. the more mods the worse.
At dyno day I had my car setup with my WB for WOT 12.0 12.2 AFR.
I looks good on the street my atap 02's were .920's I think? larry was looking at them.
After that for a while, on the street (atap) I saw about .920-.935.
But at the track atap 02's did the normal thing were it reads .970 .990? At the track you doing alot differnt condtions then street driving. My WB AFR was still a good low 12's that might even be a "liitle" on the lean side. But I get no KR so it's better for the plugs/02/ and the motor for carbon and rich byproducts. (oil contapation {water/fuel) Then people that like running the 11.5's and say " I run a little a rich tune to be safe"? LOL Safe from what? knocking is knocking. And pump gas has the same engery so get what you can from it. Running rich for the street isn't a replacement for needed more oct. Don't tune like that or your stupid, your not out smarting a damn thing.
A few weeks later tuning with matt. WB was still around low 12's. But then it stared to rain. For the whole month on Atap has been between .910s and 950's WOT during differnt times on the street BTW. LOL Not that great for solid numbers.
This weekend I used the wB agian with Brain. I had some problems with it reading funny. And other probelms? But I did a new "free air" and calabraited the 02 and did a warm up test. And it was working fine last night, I also read some good things on the LM1 foums about how EFI cars will go lean off the chart reading after WOT, form the IPW pretty much stoping, and the engin is just along for the ride and pumping air with no load or HP output. I'm sure you noticed this with Atap. B1S102mV, IPWs, FT's,ect.
So I added a little more boost, think it was firday night? and like I was expection a saw a WOT AFR 12.3's mid 12's And 12.7 a few times. Thats as far as I want to go. But no KR beuse I had it on low street timing. (we did go up to 21 ) So I added some fuel now I'm back at low 12's. I don't have my labtop right now, but I wnat to see if and how much timming I cam added running a mid 11 AFR. ok, I'm bored with htis crap.
cliff nots.
I've seen now on my car that same WB numbers but the GM 02's reading all over the place. _________________ New Era performance
