OK, my LS1M has been malfunctioning for sometime. I sent it back and Mark sent me a new one already tested and loaded with software. It STILL doesn't work right.

What is happening is that only at WOT the LS1M doesn't read correctly TPS, Boost, MPH, or RPM. At idle or at cruising it appears to read OK.

Question - the Vogel ported TB that I put on, does it or will it effect the TPS? or perhaps I have a bad TPS or damaged it in the swap?

HELP- I'm too old and stupid to figure this out Laughing Laughing Laughing

Have someone scan it next time you are up. The TPS could be screwed up but I don't know about the other stuff (boost, MPH, RPM)... Does the Palm have the latest LS1M software?

uhhh

it's the sensor that attaches to the throttle shaft??

directly opposite where the cables hook up.

only two sensors on there...TSP and MAF...the MAF is on the top...

EDIT 2 sensors + one motor (IAC)

you want the junk on the side.

What John meant was to use the LS1M to scan for TPSV instead of TPS. Sit in the car and press the gas pedal (or turn it by hand) and watch the voltage reading.

OK-
TPSV at idle - .53 constant
TPSV at WOT went to 4.34
at cruise like 1.53

I tried to save some logs today and my LS1M had a fatal error. Something else is wrong and I'm trying to work it out with Mark. Perhaps the cable? although it tests fine. weird

I think cary was testing while he was driving, not just in the driveway with the Key to ON and not running.

correct- while driving
Now the LS1M doesn't work at all, so I'm waiting on a new cable to see if that's the reason it's fucked up Evil or Very Mad

Hey, look at it this way.....becasue my LS1M is screwed up I have no way of telling if my rocker install went OK or my new TB! Laughing

I guess it's OK...no BOOM yet Laughing
