Is this a full-time, salary+ benifits career type job or a "buy a trained monkey to use autocad and solid works so he can update drawings for a 'decent' hourly rate"? _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

right now it is a full time position, hourly plus benefits. Is it a "growth" position? no, but there I would like to see our current position upgraded some a simple cad operator to someone who has good cad knowledge, attention to detail, is current with ANSI drafting spec, can take engineer's sketches and make prints to company standard (er, let's raise the bar on that a little) and can maybe even contribute toward design as they learn about the business. our cad operator gave notice, and we are also paying a guy to do detail design work for us. I'd like to bring that back in house. |

Mike I have 8 total years experience with autocad, 4 years of that in the field at my current job. Are you looking for an entry cad operator or someone with experience? IM just wondering if this is somthing that I would want to persue or if iM better off at my current job. Also is the pay a set number or is it based on experience? _________________ '08 TrailBlazer SS Black/Black |
