I wanted to start a thread to discuss planning for IDD V. Let's try to keep this thread informational (not too much extra crap) so it can be a good reference for what we need to do to prepare, plans to drive out, questions about the event, etc.
I would suggest that everyone going be registered with INTENSE and have hotel reservations. The hotel will most likely be full at some point, so do it now!
I made reservations for Thursday night and Friday night. |

I am registered, but I do not have a room. I guess I could reserve one and worry about the roomate later. _________________ Mike Gorzynski |

I'm registered and plan on leaving work early on the thursday around noon. The route I'm going to take is 86 west out to the 90, and the the 90 into OH.
depending on what time you guys are going thursday, we could hook up on the 90, or just meet at the hotel. I'm figuring about 2 1/2 to 3 hr ride for me. _________________ 2000 GTP 13.5 daily driver

I plan on staying both night also. Planning on splitting a room but not sure who yet, and I haven't res. one either.
And you can't buy beer in OH on Suns.
I'm planning on bringing all hand tools to do most anything. So no one should need any. I belive larrry brings his small floor jack. (please let us know larry) I'm bringing exrta a set of plugs/wires. and a 660 and 650 belt. And any spare idler pullies, gaskets I have. It would be wise to bring any extra parts you have. A spare fuel pump would be good, I think Ed has a extra. (ed let me bring it ) I'm not bringing a spare or jack for more room, But we need to remember to make sure somone has theres.
I'd like to get a PS2 maybe?
Closer to the date we can get the list of Gas/pullys we will bring. |

I'll have my two drag radials in the trunk and a small jack. Everyone should bring their two-way radios and extra batteries (and any extra radios). Cameras too. Anyone have a camcorder? I'll have my still camera. |

I'm bringing my LS1M, JimBeam, Yuengling, and all my cleaning stuff. Perhaps some munchies too. What else is there?
Like I said, I'm leaving straight from work around 12pm thursday 4/15. That would put me on the I90 in Erie around 1:15pm if anyone wants to meet up with me at one of the Erie exits. |

Thread about the hotels. Regular rooms are booked. I guess there are a few hot tub rooms left. People are starting to book at another hotel down the street.
I would suggest people bring food/drink. We might be hanging out at the hotel and then we'll be at the track. |

What time do we plan on leaving? Any Buffalo guys to pick up on our way through? Any caravans to know about? I'll post something in the East Coast forums. |
