BUMP
Here are all the details. Any questions please let me know.

All Wheel Drive
All Wheel Steering
Active Aero
Active Exhaust (doesn't work on aftermarket exhaust)
Black/Charcoal leather (2 rips in driverside... can be fixed. Rest is perfect)
5 speed.

AC blows cold, heat is very hot
Spec Stage II clutch is 7k old
all 120k maint done @ 118. currently @ 125
Oil pump was replaced @ 118...
Tranny rebuilt @ 118
Transfer case rebuilt @ 120
Walbro 255 FP... uninstalled
18x9 Chrome Cobras
Apexi AVCR Electronic boost controller (very nice, very expensive)
K&N FPIK
RFL BOV
new brakes (rotors, pads) @ 122
Comes with laptop for tuning, no software, no cable
Exhaust is 2.5 from each turbo, 3inch, then 2.5 out the back @ 2 3"tips.
Clean title, 3rd owner.
Won the award of excellence @ the River Show... cause it cleans up real nice.
Just testing the waters... my asking price went down, because my priorities have changed. This car turns heads... all the time. I am constantly getting compliments... and people are shocked when I tell them its a 92.
The BAD -
Tranny could use some GM Synchro mesh... it doesn't grind, but its Mitsubishi, so its notchy.
Carrier bearings on the DS... don't need them, but it would get rid of some clunky noise that doesn't bother me anymore.
Wheel Speed sensor is bad i think. Its making the ABS act funny.
During hard launch (very hard) @ the track the clutch acted up. Pulls fine from a roll, and still launches on the street no problem. Not sure what happened. its only been to the track 3 times, the first 2 were before anything was fixed, then then once to see how it would do.
If your interested or know someone who is, please let me know. I'd like to sell it and break even, but if that doesn't happen I may take a small loss just so I can move on. Interested in clean trades, I don't want any roaches.
THESE PICS ARE FROM A RINSE - CAR WAS STILL DIRTY and interior was dirty as well
Stock wheels will come with. 1 is slightly bent @ the lip, but Im going to try and fix it.
Others can be seen on the Diamond Detailing page : Before and after the detail that won me the show award last year.

in front of the house... where all my money will be going soon.... hopefully.
and the barn/pimp garage my new project will be created in.... hopefully again :eekdance:
I'll post up all of the issues with this car, I have nothing to hide. If you have questions about any of this please call me or PM me, I don't get on here very much lately. Some of this may be answered by other people on this forum, but I cannot tell if what they say is true.
Motor mounts - I dont' know if it needs them, but I think it definitely needs the one by the transmission. The tranny seems to have shifted...when your in first it looks like where 3rd is... (but it still works fine, other than 2nd gear being hard to find at high RPMs on occasion - and this only happened when the tranny shifted, so I think I'm running out of linkage) and thats the only thing I can think of. The reason one of the mounts would be shot is because the dealership fucked the car up when it was in for the t-case... I ended up replacing the t-case in my back yard, and have no problems since. Tranny was completely rebuilt 10k ago... I have all the old parts if you want them.
Carrier Bearings - The dealership told me I needed carrier bearings when it was in for the t-case... I don't know how to tell if they are bad, but they are 75 bux each, and I just wanted it out of Dan Georger.
Active Aero - the fuse is pulled because the front spoiler was damaged by the original owner. You can still get the back one to work, you just need to bypass the front one. This really doesn't effect the car, you just don't have moving spoilers. If you want a new front one, you can probably get one cheap, a lot of these guys are all about weight reduction lately.
ECS - This is the electronic suspension. This stopped working late summer. But then it works on occasion. The suspension itself feels fine, so I think the ECS comp needs the caps re-soldered. According to people who know more about these than I do, THAT IS THE PROBLEM. When it is not working correctly, it defaults to SPORT mode... so the ride is stiffer, but you don't lose any handling. It worked all day Saturday, but yesterday it kicked out after about 20 minutes of driving.
ABS - I believe the ABS controller either shifted (which I was told may be the issue), or is bad, or something... it could be a wheel speed sensor or something, but I have no idea. I pulled the fuse for the ABS, and the brakes work fine. Just now the ABS light is on. Before I pulled the fuse the ABS worked, it was just hyper active.
Coolant Light - During hard braking the coolant light will flash. I have never had a problem with coolant or temp, but now for some reason it comes on during hard braking. Again... no problems, just an annoying light that will come up on the dash.
Funny Idle - Idle itself is fine, when your in neutral, or 1st w/ clutch in... but sometimes when your driving the idle will stay @ 2k-2300rpms until you come to a stop. Not really an issue cause most of my driving is above 2k rpms... so I don't see it. When you are coming to a stop... the idle will be high, and then drop as you slow down. This started happening the same time the ABS went. Maybe it has something to do with the ABS? According to the AVC-R, I am at 0% throttle... so I'm not sure why the idle stays high.
Dent in fender - I'm going to go places today and see if I can get someone to pull it. Appears to be simple... its actually a good spot for a dent to be.
If anyone who knows anything wants to chime in and tell me what some of these problems might mean, I will be willing to try and get them fixed before the sale.
These are from over the summer, I just haven't uploaded them till now. These do not reflect the minor damage on the passenger fender. Minor = knee sized dent before bumper.
This was supposed to be a wedding picture... instead I got one of my car..
And an older one...
Car also does sweet AWD burnouts.

But that was with the old transfer case, haven't really done any sweet smokers since I replaced it.
If what you see does not impress you this is not the car for you.
As it sits, for 9k OBO, your getting a hell of a deal. its not 7, but I don't think it was the price scaring people away. For 7, I gots ta remove some stuff.
I have about that much into it after the purchase of the car. My fiance thinks I'm a loser for selling to so cheap, but like I said, another opportunity knocks... and I must answer.
PLEASE CALL TODAY - 716-901-1081 - ANYTIME
If you find a buyer for this car for 10k or in that range, I will pay you money, and it won't be like $50.. probably more than $100.
For reference please visit my local board where this car is very well known. |

FYI -
03 Cobra. Lots of mods.
The deal is, I give him cash, he sells me the car, and buys a GT500. Unfortunately the rumor floating around is they weakened the rods in the car... Ford was getting killed on warranty work on the 03-04s and are preventing that by limiting power by about 6-650hp. Still not too shabby, but not what he was looking to do with a 5.4L.
I was getting the car for 1/2 blue book. What he owes on it. I don't think the deal will go through anymore, and I really don't care because I put a bid in on a house yesterday, for over 100k... so buying another car isn't on my top 5 list. Its #6. |

I've been outbid on the house, someone came in @ the asking price, so they didn't even want to negotiate with me.
Oh well. Something better will come along.
:cries in corner:
but yeah...
if one of you guys wants a pretty sweet car, for $6000 you can have one, put a used TC in her, and sell it in the summer for 9-10.
I'm sure some of you guys have just been so sick of something you just want it gone? Well I owe like $5,997.53 on it... so if you want to give me that much for it, you're more than welcome to. |
