I hope you are working on the site right now, Dan. It's running like crap. Home page's formatting is all messed up, I'm getting multiple PHP errors, there are just blank pages coming up, and everything is just super slow. I haven't seen problems like this in a long time. |

Do I have to post a message every time I'm working on server projects? I'm sorry for the tiny period of sporadic downtime. I'll work on ensuring this free service is up 100% of the time from now on. |

Would it really be that much of an inconvenience so that the proper expectation is set?

Is it hard to have a "server is undergoing routine maintainance" screen pop up?
I'm not asking to be a smartass, I'm asking because I don't know.
Maybe people won't bury themselves up your ass if they just know it's expected maintainance and that you are fully aware that the server is not currently operational? _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

Server maintenance happens quite often, almost daily for my business. Doing this ensures this site continues to have fast access and slick server response times. This is what I do. 99% of the time this happens at 4am when nobody needs to access my websites. Occassionally I must undertake a small server reboot during normal hours and with the craziness of running my business, I can forget to post something here. I'm sorry. I will try to remember in the future. I really am sorry for the inconvenience, guys. |
