Sounds like an interesting take on jello wrestling. |
We should probably double the food order because that's just his dessert
P.S. There should be jell-hoe wrestling at this picnic. Teach the kids the real reason there's always room for jello..... _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

That would be cool. I love fresh corn. I've never done corn on the grill, though. |

The way I've heard of doing it is to soak the corn in the husk for a few hours, then toss them on the grill as is and they pretty much steam (which is how I like corn done).
I've never tried it, but I'd be game to try a couple different methods and see what works best. |

husk them, wrap in foil with a little bit of water and put on the grill to steam for a few minutes. _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe

John can you bring them in a cooler of water? If not, I'll have the foil. |

So all I need is fiol then if whoever whats to cook them that way? I donno how to do that.
I just boil them in water 4-5 mins, it works great. I have a pasta pan thats like 8round 1 ft tall that will hold only 5-6 at once. That will be 3 batches them 5 mins aprt, that ins't bad. Or I could get aother tall pan tho? Im just scard of messing them up burning them grlilling wise. I've had that a few times this year and everytime my ear had a black bruned side. is that sopsed to be better the water boiling them? |

Burnt corn sucks.
Don't know about better. Just a different way of doing it. When I do corn at home, I put them on end and steam them for just a few minutes.
If you have enough, we can try a few different methods and see what works best. |
