I think once you have it installed, you don't let it go _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe

I pretty much figured that would be the case but I thought I would give it a try anyhow. I will probably have to order a new set and drop by Lewiston/Buffalo for the install. |

Thanks but I've already decided to pass on that set. I'm already lowered with a set of SSC gen 2 springs and it's the pogo on the highway that I want to avoid. I'm looking for a set with GMPP springs all around.
Cheers,
Ian |

Ian,
Do you have the "pogo fix" strut top mounts sold by ZZP or W Body Store? Just wondering if the really help with the pogo effect _________________ 2001 Silver GTP coup 11.880@116.17 Fun Driver

I got them installed with brand new KYBs and the pogo fix. Pogo isn't bad around town, in fact quite tolerable, and it's not really all that bad on the highway but it is more than what I'm willing accept since I do fair bit of highway driving. I'm hoping that the GMPP/Koni's will be better.
Launches have improved 1000% over what I had before (waaaay more traction) and the car corners like a dream. If I did mostly city driving I would probably keep them. |

I'm considering AGX's for just the fronts but I also have my eye on Koni's new cut and assemble GMPP replacement kit due out at the end of the year. It will include the same struts, valving and springs from the GMPP kit but will require cutting of existing struts. The price is a little high at $800-850 but it will be a fully balanced kit just like the outgoing GMPP offering.
Is there any danger in running AGX's on the fronts only |
