I know Doug brought the subject up at the picnic. At the time I said I couldn't get out for lunches.
Well, things change.
I can sneak away for the occasional lunch. Anyone have any lunch plans in the near future?
ps - I'm downtown now. |

I'm on half hour lunches for the time being. Where are you downtown? I'm in the HSBC building working at One Communications 8:30-5, with lunch from 12-12:30. Im hoping to get my fiancee in there soon and if that comes through im asking to go back to hour lunches since she would be 8-5. Half hour lunches allow me very little. Working on the 8th floor is cool until the lunch rush and the 5pm rush come around each day and it takes forever to get a friggin elevator |

I don't know anyone that actually takes exactly a half hour for lunch.

I work in a call center, and when I take breaks and lunch I have to sign off and on my phone, thats how they track our time. Trust me, at my old job where all we had to do was punch a card I'd take 1:15 lunches even though I was given a half hour. Nobody knew, nobody cared up until just after I left that place. Our 15 minute breaks were usually a half hour, 45 minutes lol I miss that place, although I prefer the better money I get here over the better breaks at the other place. |

I'm over by what used to be the Genny brewery. What is it now, High Falls Brewery or something like that.
I think it's a toss up from my Sutherland days whether the smell from brewing beer beats the smell of fying Krispy Kremes. |
