Do we really have that many people in need of a DHP? Or that many people who would actually commit to it once money was required? I would rather wait for DHP 2.0 to see what that holds. It's due out this summer, so a May Dyno Day/DHP Day wouldn't work.

Yes. BUt if anyone wants a PCM dyno tune, they should contact DHP or INTENSE. And by that, I mean they may offer to do it at their shop for an additional fee over the standard PCM price.

if u guys goto fountain, run up to the r/c track they have.

they are building a 4th track.

onroad and offroad indoor electric.

outdoor dirt oval

outdoor nitro offroad 1/10 and 1/8

The fountain employees at the dyno and the track are good bunch of guys.

INTENSE is near Columbus OH. I think DHP is in Michigan and/or Illinois.

For anyone who has been waiting years for DHP to come out here and flash their PCM so they don't have to hassel with the core charge, let me suggest they send $299 out to Intense for one of their Standard (equal to a DHP 1.0) or other 3 off the self burns, including mild to hot cams and happy knob timing control.
This gets you the Intense PCM and you can KEEP your original PCM!!!
Or send it back to Intense for a $100 core charge refund.
I have had both the DHP 1.0 and the Intense Standard burn in my 1998 GTP and loved them both, but I am happier with the Intense SB. Not just cause it was cheaper, but the car seems faster, shifts at 6000 rpms instaed of 5700 like the DHP did, and has a label on it with all info, including car make and model, VIN # and Intense number.
So anyone who can't afford DHP's price or is tired of waiting foe DHP to come out here or just wants a better PCM from a company that answers their e'mail and ships in a short period of time so maybe you can actually drive your car this year, please consider Intense-racing.
Doug

does the intense work the same way as the DHP with the perf button? for example the 3-1 and 4-2 shifts only work in perf mode with DHP.. same way with intence pcm??? if so i would def get the intense!

As far as I know the Intense PCM works exactley the same as the DHP but for $100 less...and like doug said he is MUCH happier with the Intense PCM so far.

Plus after all the problems John has had with DHP...plus my own problems I will support Intense's PCM over the DHP!
