				| Instead of the drop down box with a list could you switch it over to a text box we can input our own info into? 2002 "Other Car" just doesn't sound right. |

You have to map a custom field in the DB maps. I can help you if you need help. Unfortunately text boxes won't work but what you can do is just input every make and model that you can think of in the map. I had been meaning to do that for awhile along with about a hundred other things!!! _________________ Shelby GT500 Convertible

Think the web development people from like tire rack or something like that would be willing to cough it up?

It's a pretty common thing...I bet the 'map' is available somewhere?? _________________ Hi, I'm Matt. I'm the resident smartass and I have fourblack children: (ok, one's only half black..)

In that case....why dont we just change the name of the club since there's just as many people with "other cars" as Grand Prixs. I guess it was kind of why it was considered "other car" when the club site was designed. But, now since everyone is going with "other cars"......... _________________ ZZP stuff...

Why don't we just kick everyone with 'other cars' out of the club then?

Rediculous.

My real thoughts:

If you don't have a grad prix, select year and 'other car' then just write what your car is in your profile.

Makes sense to me? |

Why not just eliminate that field all together.. And if you want to advertise your vehicle, put it in your sig. _________________

I'm confused, if a text box would work for something like location, why wouldn't it work for car type? If you're worried about the db going wonky, just change the table or whatever it's stored in and be done with it.

Larry, if you don't have time to do it I'd be glad to take a stab at it if you're willing to zip up the source and email it to me, I'll see what I can do. Is this using mysql or postgresql?
