|
|
The first race of our Bracket Racing Series will take place on Wednesday May 5 at NYIRP. The gates open at 5:30 and racing begins at 8:00 or so. The winner gets a $40 Grand Prix Store gift certificate and the runner-up gets a $20 certificate.
I'll be on a flight back from Long Island, so Roxanne won't be making an appearance. I'm sure there will be plenty of veterans there to lend a hand if you've never raced before. |

Mike, if you know how much slower your car gets each time, you'll do well at bracket racing! |

Sounds like what my car used to do. I put in the $5 fan mod. That solved the problem and my car became much more consistent. |

Maybe I'll get around to installing the fan switch I have this weekend. I guess that would've been a good Mod Day project. Although, it was fun watching everyone look at themselves in my hood. |

... and roof ... and quarter panels ... and door ...
in fact, most those panels reflected better than the mirrors!
I wonder just how good my car could get (with some effort). Hmmmm... |

My car is alive again, but I won't be able to make it to NYIRP tonight. I'm stuck working late to make up for the time I took off on Monday to 'fix' my alternator. |

I'm going, I'm leaving my house at about 4:30. Want to drive out with me? Come down the 90 to the 400. get off on the 400 at transit road. go south on transit around the bend where it becomes southwestern. first light is angle rd (wilson farms) turn right. first street on the right is carla lane, turn right. my house is #12.
oh yeah the sunoco at transit and seneca st has 100 octane race gas. i'm going to get a few gallons _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe

I don't know what the weather is like in Geneseo, but if anyone gets a definite yes/no from the track later this afternoon/tonight, please e-mail the Yahoo list and maybe we can call people who are on their way down. |

Experience from last year: track will tell you they are running unless it is pouring down rain there. |
