Hey guys another new guy in the mix. Im Andy from North Syracuse. came across your site and had to join. Thanks to Larry for setting me up! what i got is a 2005 silver grand prix i have had since may 07. before that i had a 2000 grand prix with the 3.1. she is bone stock except for dynomax super turbo mufflers with no res. all im really planning on doing to her from here is debage the trunk/spo tips/and possibly some new grills. here are some pics. there all i got really at the moment from when i first cleaned her up after getting her.

dont worry about the massive wheel gap, shes on a hill.

those were the tips that were "free" because i didnt have any picked out when i got the work done. but that will change soon. those are WAY to small for the size of the opening in the bumper. all stainless pipe from my cat back.

well thats enough of the pics. got more pics of the exhaust install that i do of the car itself.

I'm looking forward to enjoying my stay here!

And this place isn't a disaster, it's a melting pot of diffrent attitudes.

Disaster is the Spears family, that shit is like a train wreck that happened on a bridge collapse that landed on a cruise ship that was sinking due to a plane collision!!! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

a little shop out in Port Byron called RD FABS. www.rdfabs.com is there website. they do some high quality work with stainless steel. and a great bunch of guys on top of that.

I wouldnt have been able to afford it, if my 2000 didnt get me nearly 6k for trade in, while only being worth 3k. dont know how i pulled that one off The tranny was on the way out and it was #4 in only 85,000 miles. so i traded her in before it went out. had some wicked bad luck in the tranny department with that one, so i wanted to get out of it. if that was still running good, i would still be driving it.

well thanks for the warm welcoming guys! i hope to have fun here. Im also a member of a few other GP clubs ontop of this one.

Welcome.

I love my 07, although I am dissapointed in the 08's cause they got rid of the supercharger. Now it is bare bones 3800 or a GXP.

^and they stopped production of all grand prixs back in November if I remember correctly.

Nice car, like the Pontiac lettering on the side, thought about something like that for mine. I've forgot what mine looks like when clean Razz

Have a look around for tips, you can probably find the same quality and looks of the SPO tips for less. SLP does offer a rear bumper piece that is suitable for single tip use, kind of a mustang rear look though.

Also to complete that exhaust system I'd suggest a stainless downpipe, w/ or w/o the cat if you can get the codes turned off. Before I even went pulley I picked up great gains from just the exhaust work.

Think I was running mid-14's with just the downpipe and a GM performance parts resonator. I quickly learned from being fooled by the large outside diameter that the inside is very small and restrive. Improved the exhaust sound a bit...improved.

That shop that did the cat-back might be able to fabricate up something resonably conservative on the cost side, if not ZZP is a good source zzperformance.com.

This place isn't a disastar, we just have people attached to cars they don't own anymore Razz Their loss is a new-to-them Grand Prix owners gain.
