Anyone in the syracuse area have a scanner that they could scan my car with.
I bought the scanguage and some of the readings are strange.
like 22ign. On the clubgp forum, some think a decimal should be placed in the value so it would 2.2 and not 22 of KR.

I really want this done, and dont know what to do or how to get it done.
I could probably call the dealer and see if they can do it.
Car is off the road right now, but i should have it on the road within 30 days.
I just want to get started on this, i want to add more mods for the 3.4 pulley setup, and want to make sure my KR is not so bad.
Thanks

22ign sounds more like "ignition advance" I think KR is always followed by KR or spark knock or something to that extent..

Actually you are right, but according to the manual that is the number for timing advance or retard.

When i use the VPW settings to for KR, the number remains a constant zero.

I can scan, I just can't edit unless you buy credits from hpt for your car. Junior has the scanner right now, but I'm sure I could get it back in a couple days if you need me to scan your car. I'm in bville

great, thanks for the info. I probably will take u up on ur offer.
now the big questions is do i come to u when the car is on the road or can it be done without driving it, So would you come to syracuse to do it, if that was the case.
would you charge me to do it?

If i were to buy the credits can you tune me (if needed)?

Yes it is Kenny, I can head down there sometime or whatever, do you have a laptop? if you do shoot me a pm i might be able to just send you the disc and cable and you can do whatever you need, borrow it for a few days or whatever and send it back if that is easier, I know you have some tuning to do when you get that n* on.

Where are ya? I can scan it whenever we can just set something up, I work off carrier circle, so i'm in syracuse every day. I'm still learning how to tune with this thing, once i get good with it i can prolly tune it for you, I'd rather break my car first than someone else's lol.

seeing 22 degrees advance is fine when at idle or cruise.
