Is Lancaster an 1/8 mile track? I thought they had to shut down early because of noise issues and the people living in the area. |

Yup, Lancaster is only an 1/8 mile track. Last year they did end the event early because of the noise. This year, no 'race cars' are allowed. Only streetable cars can be entered which have to have DOT tires and a full exhaust with 'mufflers'.

That's the place. If I wasn't such an old fart, I'd think about heading out there. |

MOM's is cool. Where else can you see a bunch of Mustangs get beat by Honda's, Pontiacs, and Buicks
I hope the weather and my walet hold out. _________________ Good Bye.

I ended up staying home to avoid all the Mustang traffic. plus, I had a dull headache all day that track nose wouldn't have helped. I am planning on making it someday this year. |

It was ok, I have fun but the track sucks balls. It was fun to go with brad and billy. I saw jonL there and others form buffalo. me and Shawn (96) finaly got to line up. Not gona say what happend, just can't belive hes runing a DHP v1 with a sg3 cam? Also the stock convertor/gears and shift points arn't helping for that cam/heads.
And I got somone from UBRF (forumaLS1) Sherm, to race me. He had a lid, headers, Y-pipe, catback, not sure what else? Still waiting to get the vid. Left him bad once I hooked up, 4-6 cars lenghts maybe to the 1/8? Slip says 5 tenths so thats about right. After that he left LOL
Hear's my worst run
