Hi all! My name is Tammy and I recently purchased an 02' Red Grand Prix GT and I LOVE it! Wanted to see if there were any clubs in my area (Corning) and did a web search and found you guys! Looks like a great time! Cant wait to get more involved. Thanks for the hospitality and look forward to many great times!

Would love to make a few changes performance wise. I already found out that theres a governor set at 99. Not that I plan on driving that speed everyday, but the idea its there bugs me. Would also like to do some exterior work to get a tougher look out of what I have. I do all my maintenance and repairs myself. Still new at the body work part as far as modifications go. Doing lots of looking around right now at what all the options are. Lots of stuff interesting at this point! Theres a very thin line between head turning due to being attractive and overdoing it and looking cheap. I dont want that to happen. So Im being careful too. |

Welcome to alcoholics unanonymous
Is there really a 99mph limiter set on the GT's from the factory? I've never heard of that _________________ 2000 NBM Z28 | SLP lid | Ebay LT's w/ TSP ORY | Magnaflow catback | New Era tune | Pro 5.0 | Monster Stage2 and Tick master | BMR springs/Bilstein HD's | Spohn Adj. Hi Tammy. Welcome to the club.
Speed limiter on GT is 108. On a GTP it's 108 in 3rd and 126 in 4th. Stock, that is. _________________ 1998 Silvermist GTP Coupe
