Its fine man. I was just looking at your car and thinkin how funny it would be to put my drivetrain in there (or something even faster) and make people wonder wtf.
Also, you got a S/C regal at your age. I had a a V8 swapped ugly as sin astro van, and a Old's Calais.
Just promise us, no wings, no spinner OR chrome hubcaps, no sparkly tint. and NO fartcan. |
look at the sig, most people wounder WTF |

After a few months, you'll get to realize that we like to pick on the Regal owners. There will probably be a couple of Matlock or Golden Girls jokes.
There are benefits to being a Regal owner. You get the close parking spots at stores, and cheap coffee at McDonalds. Plus, by eating your dinner at 4:00 in the afternoon, you have plenty of time for activities in the evening.
In all seriousness, it sounds like you have a nice little sleeper on your hands. This is a good group of guys and I'm sure you'll have fun. |

Nothing against Regals, lemme 1st say that. I've worked on many 97-04's at levels from 11 to 14sec builds. It's the atmosphere of a forum that tends to seclude itself from others of an equivalent platform that I laugh at (as all W's are identical to people who dig past the slapped-on exterior trim differences).
I've just seen some hilarious things in my years of browsing the Regal, Riv, Bonnie, GP, Monte-specific forums... where people tend to get closed-minded & fail to realize their vehicles are far from limited/unique, especially in reference to other GM sister vehicles.
This is a great community, for sure. I've travelled across the country during my college years since 2001, and primarily depended on 3800 contacts to make social friends. About 90% of the people I talk to still, are these car owners, regardless of sticking with their GP/MC/Imp/Regal/etc. or going on to a Stang, LSx, import, or whatever else for their next performance toy.
----------
Getting back to Corey, his car got a great start in the power department. Alot of basics have been taken care of already during the initial build, and he is now looking to do a couple more things that make it a very fun DD beyond already being there for the most part.
We'll have him, and a couple others (Regal, Monte, et al) ready to make it to some NYIRP trips and such, by spring.

You really should pick on someone your own size.
Problem is, if you and Brad fought, you'd never know who won because it'd be like a solar eclipse.
BOOYA.

Mods? I have an aftermarket "intake". 435/419 wheels.
Track? Unfortunately, not me.. I have a convertible, and since I refuse to cage it, I can't run. Anything faster than 13.49 and they make you have a roll bar. IMHO, ugly in a 'vert. |
