mainly I want to get rid of the payments, save up for a truck, need it if I plan to continue on the construction path or a path where I mght have to take my other car with me.
Also the recent fender bender of the Firebird has kinda made it a must go item. Need the cash to finish the build, I had budgeted to possibly keep it, but the fender bender finished that off it looks like.
I love the car, every time I drive it I want to take the for sale signs off lol |

Hello everyone,
Ed,
I am trying to get classic/antique car Ins. for my 2004 GTP.
Depending on what your Firebird is, you might want to inquire about Classic/Antique Ins.
Happy Motoring,

Depending on the ins company you have to have had a license for at least 10 years to insure as an antique/classic/historical. So Basically in NY you have to be at least 26 pending you got your license right when you were 16. I have been paying more for regular insurance on the firebird cause of this stupid fucking rule. Why does my driving experience have anything to do with the age of the car?! _________________ 2007 Grand Prix GT CAI, 180* so far, more on the way
1968 Firebird 408 Chevy Big Block(going away for a pontiac motor soon), Holley 750 Double Pumper, Flowmaster Exhaust, TCI Streetfighter 350 turbo 3 speed with B&M shift kit, 4.11's in the rear end, |

Hello everyone,
I have American Collectors, they require 10 years.
I do not believe it is a NYS requirement.
Try other Insurance Co's.

Hello everyone.
Some Ins. Co's underwriters make exceptions for some cars.
If my 2004 GTP is accepted, I will post.
