2 Hoosier Quick Time Pros mounted on High Polish torque stars. Drilled for #10 Screws for rim locks, but not installed. Tires have about 15-20 burn outs on them. Rims have some curb rash, but still look good at over 100 mph
At 18-20 pounds of air pressure, they dont spin on the rim without the screws, less pressure and they will spin in the rim. With screws I have run down to 12-14 lbs. Best 60' in the 1.6 second range w/screws
Asking $300 Pics of tread area show the round wear guage holes, those are how you tell when tire is near end of life, not the 2 grooves. Lots of use left in these.

These are the 26 x 9.50 x 16's, right?
Any pics of the depth left in the 2 tread lines, and how you did the bead screws?
I was suggesting some 15" QTP's for Sam to mount on my Montana 5-stars for his Regal, but this may be an easier solution to get it back to the track sooner. (Johnny says they're lighter than the M/T's we were looking at... )

Yes, they are the 26" x 9.5" x 16". I put this set of tires on last year after wearing out my first pair. The first pair I used the screws to lock the tires to rim, just as Big Jeff was doing at the time. This time I tryed them with out the screws and was happy with the luanches at 18lbs or a little less. I will have to get them out of storage and get a picture for you if you need.
These also have the black Pontiac center caps on them, I know I know, all that extra weight!! |
