So, plans are up in the air right now. What I might do is drive to Grand Island NY early in the morning, gawk at the chevelles for a few hours, and then drive over to Letchworth in the afternoon.
Anybody from Buffalo know the best way to get to Letchworth from the 90's? should be around 1-2 hours from Grand Island, no? |
If I go I will be coming from GI too. But we would be leaving around 10:30ish. It is about an hour and a half drive. _________________ DubC Performance |

Everyone should bring their own beverages and a dish to apss. This could include chips, mac salad, slaw, desserts, etc.
A few other points that are important.
1. Admission is $5 to get into the park
2. There are no trash bags. You must carry your own trash out of the park.
3. We will be setting up at the Upper Falls. It is at the other end of the park from the main entrance. It is about 15-20 drive once in the park.
4. There is only a small, expensive little store near us. Buy what you need beforehand. I paid a lot of money for charcoal last year.
5. Watch for the Park Police. We don't need to have added attention.
6. There is a limit to how much booze you can bring in. Following Rule #5 will make that a lot easier to get away with.
7. Be careful when opening your hood. An open hood draws Johnny Airbox to your car like a moth to a light.
Please copy, paste, and add your name to the list below so we can get an accurate count. I need to know how many burgers and stuff to buy.
1. Guzzo (+1.5)
2. Preston
3. Sean H (+1)
4. Mike H (+1)
5. Doug
6. Larry
7. John C
8. Brad
9. Jon G (+1)
10. Penny (+2)
11. Scott M (+1)

FYI - I was not planning on making my Tahoe sauce, as it didn't seem to be that big a hit at Marino's garage.
If anyone really wants it, speak now or I won't bother to make it. |

I still don't know if I'm coming up or not. Sheryl is in NJ right now, and we are being dragged in 10 different directions for Saturday.
I'll know more tomorrow when she gets home, we'll see. _________________ 2000 GTP 13.5 daily driver

Why don't you explain to the woman that you folks are attending this picnic as as a good little woman, she should shut her mouth and do what she is told.
